Bace Ball

Today i played  bace ball.There were batters and hitters .After  all batter's 

got a tern we swapped  when it was my tern the coach called craig

chucked the ball and i missed it but when he chucked the second ball

i hit it then runned bace to bace.It was much easy to put my hands up

the bat to hit it .

The history of Transport

This week one of my reading tasks was to research and develop a timeline about how transport has changed over time. Here is my timeline. 

 1.Transport was in 2000 BC The first charlots were built 

 2.  Transport  in 3100 BC Wild horses were tamed and used as transport 

3.In 3500 BC  cave man built Fixed wheels out of rock  then putted them onto carts .

4. also in 3400 BC River boats were invented 

5. In 1783  the first balloon was made 

 

6.in 1801 The first train was made by Richard Trevithick. 

7. In 1816 AD the first bike was  made .It was called the draisine.It was invented by Baron karl

The diffrence between Crocodile's and Allgator's

1.The wright brother's On December 17,1903,Wilbur and Orville Wright made
four brief flight's at Kitty Hawk with their first powered aircraft.The wright
brother's had invented the first successful with their airplane.The flight
lasted 12 second's they made a new world record.

2. The first train  In 1825,George stephenson built Locomotion No.1.
In stockton and Darlington Railway,North-east England ,witch was the first
public steam railway in the world.

3. The Hindenburg was originally created by Hugo Eckener.The Zepplin
company builed airship's that were for transportation and they were used in the war.
The hindenburg was a 245-meters and it was 804-foot long airship .It had a maximum
speed of 135 km .Sadly when the Hidenburg was landing it exploded because inside
the Hindenburg it had lot of hydrogen and other flammable toxons .It was a terrible
disaster.

Cugnot Carriage in 1769.

I think dog's are the best because they are playful they love going i n
the water, cute they are ture friend's,they protect you.Dogs
can always find a reason to be hilarious.When  your
feeling down dog's always cheer you up.They are always
happy to see you.Dogs are way more abventurous.
Dog's are a man's  best friend.Dogs let you know
to do silly to them,and they won't mind at all.
Dogs keep you active.

how pencil are made

The wood is softened and cut  into slats called  stock or pencil squares.
step.2 A wax and stain are applied and the stats are passed under a cutting wheel .
The grooves in the slats are filled with a special  elastic glue for the lead.

Now its time to add the lead .Lead is created by mixing graphite and
clay baking it in a oven at about 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. Graphlite
is an organic from of crystalline carbon that was found in Metaorphic
and indigenous rocks .It is turned into lead ,which is the common
terminologly used  to describe the inside of a penci

 After the pencil  is loaded with lead , it's time for another slat of wood to be
loaded on top.This is done on converytor belt  with an automateded arm
that flips the side with glue over and stacks it on top of the other slat countaing
the lead .Think of it as a lead sandwich.

 A medchanized  plunger squeezes the sandwich togther with over  2,000
pounds of pressure.The wood slats are compressed as the glue has time to dry.

 After about an hour ,the sandwich's  are sliced into pencils .A fast- spining
cutter is used  to shape the pencils into a Hexagonal dessign. From there ,the pencil's
separate out of the sandwich into individual pieces. Any pencils with defects. are discarded.

 One at a time the pencils go though a lacque\ring head ,giveing them their color and sheen.
The surface is coated with 4-10 coats of paint or lacquer,depending on the desired and
color.

 The final step is adding the rubber eraser at the very top with an assembly machine.
First,the machine squeezes the top of the pencil and slides on top of the aluminum part known
as a ferrule.Next its inserts the rubber eraser and squeezes to hold eveything together.


some of the pencil's are wrapped  in decorative film with intricate design's ,
while other's are screen printed or foil stamped with logo or advertising message.
If they' re not used as company giveaways, the pencils are simply imprinted
with brand name of the pencil manufacturer.

What i have been doing in lock down

 I have been sketching locomotives and making a diy tintin

T -shirt out of a tintin sketch that i  drawed.Then i had to cut the empty laminate

folder with the sketch drawing under neath the folder. Then i spray painted

the cut out tintin sketch  folder on to a  plain orange t-shirt.The sketch drawing was printed

on the orange T-shirt.

Week 4 Term 1 2020 Weekly Relflectoin

One thing i have enjoyed about school this week
is CT . One thing  i am looking forward to is going
on the year 7 trip to the south island to curious cove .
