I am a student at Ōtaki College in Ōtaki, NZ. My blog is a place where I will be able to share some of my learning. Please note....some work won't be edited - they are just my first drafts, so there may be some errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas on my posts.
Kia ora Tama, my name is Calais. I go to Paihia School and I’m a year seven student. I like your post because you have added a lot of information about the praying mantis and other animals. I learnt that the praying mantis contains over 2,400 species. I was wondering what invertebrates meant so I had to google it up and the best answer was Invertebrates are animals without a backbone or bony skeleton.
How long did it take you to find all this information?
Kia ora Tama my name is Shay, I’m a year seven student from Paihia School. I enjoyed reading your blog post about animals and insects because you put a lot of information about the animals and insects, I learnt facts about animals and insects that I never thought existed. Your picture of the Peacock Mantis Shrimp looks like Crayfish mixed with a face of a praying mantis.
Kia ora Tame my name is Brooklyn I am a year six student at Paihia School INVERTEBRATES was good It had a lot of animals and a lot of information about the animals my biggest fear is tarantulas and other species of spiders it’s cool that you added cool facts about what the animals do.
How did you get all of this information for all of the animals?
Kia ora Tama, my name is Mikaila and I am a year seven student from Paihia School. I enjoyed reading your blog post about animals and insects because you put a lot of information about the animals and insects, I learnt facts about animals and insects that I have never learned about before. I think your picture of the Peacock Mantis Shrimp looks similar to the Crayfish mixed with a face of a praying mantis.
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments. Positive - something I have done well. Thoughtful - a sentence or more that lets me know you that you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. Helpful - please give me some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about.
